Sudarsan Pattnaik's sand art on Lord Ram sets new world record in World Record Book of India

Internationally acclaimed artist Sudarsan Pattnaik from Odisha has set a new record with his sand art celebrating the consecration of the Ayodhya Ram Temple. The sand sculpture, measuring an impressive 55 feet in length, 35 feet in width, and 23 feet in height, features Lord Ram, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, along with 500 miniature replicas of the Ram Temple. Crafted at a sand art camp organized by UP’s culture department academy, this monumental creation took two days to complete. The masterpiece has been recognized by the World Records Book of India as the largest sand sculpture of Lord Ram.

Yogi Adityanath, who praised the intricate work, even took a selfie with the stunning sand art. Pattnaik expressed that the sculpture was designed to celebrate the consecration of the Ram Lalla idol at the Ayodhya temple, adorned with 500 miniature replicas of the magnificent Ram Mandir. The artwork serves as a remarkable tribute to this significant event, showcasing the talent and dedication of Pattnaik and his team in capturing the essence of the historic ceremony.
