In a thrilling display of skill and determination, the 35-year-old battled past Englishman Daniel Bethell to secure the men’s SL3 singles title for the third consecutive time and the fifth time overall at the BWF Para Badminton World Championships held in Pattaya. With previous victories in 2009, 2015, 2019, and 2022, Bhagat’s latest triumph not only adds another golden chapter to his illustrious career but also positions him as a dominant force in the world of para-badminton. Despite a challenging first game, Bhagat showcased resilience and tenacity, ultimately clinching victory with a scoreline of 14-21, 21-15, 21-14 after a grueling battle that lasted an hour and 40 minutes.
