SAI International School chairperson Silpi Sahoo and esteemed physician Prof CBK Mohanty, both hailing from Odisha, were honored with the Capital Foundation Awards 2023 in a ceremony held in New Delhi. Silpi Sahoo was presented with the Pratibha Patnaik Woman Achiever Award by Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud, in the presence of Justice AK Patnaik, chairman of the Capital Foundation. This award acknowledged her significant contributions to transformative education and her remarkable achievements in school administration and management. Silpi Sahoo expressed her deep humility and gratitude for this prestigious recognition, emphasizing that it is a testament to the collaborative efforts of the entire SAI family, including parents, teachers, and staff, who have dedicated themselves to providing high-quality education to the children of Odisha. Prof CBK Mohanty was presented with the Justice AK Patnaik Award during the event. He is a well-known specialist in Medicine based in Cuttack and the former Director of Medical Education and Training. Currently, he serves as the vice chancellor of Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences in Bhubaneswar. Prof Mohanty attributed this remarkable achievement to the support and recognition he has received from the state government of Odisha, emphasizing that his accomplishments are a reflection of the opportunities and responsibilities entrusted to him. This momentous occasion reflects the outstanding contributions and achievements of individuals from Odisha, highlighting their dedication to transformative education and healthcare in the region.
