Dr. Achyuta Samanta, a prominent figure in Odisha, was honored with an honorary Doctorate of Science degree by Jaipur’s JV Women’s University during their 14th convocation ceremony. This recognition adds to his long list of accolades, marking his 57th honorary doctorate degree. What makes this honor particularly special is that it comes from a women’s university, a first in Dr. Samanta’s illustrious career. Attending the event virtually, Dr. Samanta expressed his gratitude to the university for bestowing him with this prestigious award. He dedicated the recognition to his mother, Nilimarani, and all the women faculties and administrative staff of Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) and Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT).

The ceremony saw the presence of distinguished personalities, including retired IPS officer and former Puducherry Lt Governor Dr. Kiran Bedi, who served as the chief guest.
