Odisha-based firm bags deal to build firefighting tools for IAF

As Indian Air Force (IAF) commenced its 91st-anniversary celebrations with a ceremonial parade at Bamrauli Air Force Station in Prayagraj on Sunday, Odisha had another reason to cheer for.

A firm founded in the state with headquarters in Delhi, Classic Tecnologistics and Trade Pvt Ltd (CTTPL), had been awarded five contracts valued around Rs 90 crore by the IAF. It has been assigned to manufacture augmented reality (AR)/virtual reality (VR) firefighting operation training tools and cargo pallets, which are currently being imported from the US.

The firefighting operation tool, which is a high-end strategic product in the field of defence avionics, will be manufactured both at Berhampur and Noida facilities of the company.
