Noted filmmaker Himansu Sekhar Khatua took charge as Director of Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute (SRFTI) in Kolkata. Himansu was appointed as the Director of SRFTI in June after the approval of the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC).
