Odisha cadre IAS officer Rajesh Verma was today appointed as the Secretary to President Droupadi Murmu, an official notification of the Central Government said. Verma, a 1987 bath officer, was serving as the Secretary, Ministry of Corporate Affairs. In the past, he has also served as the Principal Secretary to Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and Principal Secretary of Energy Department, Government of Odisha.
