Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) and Pipili NAC of Odisha bagged awards for the successful conduct of Indian Swachhata League activities, which were undertaken by more than 1,850 cities. According to official sources, a rigorous evaluation was undertaken and top city teams were shortlisted for the special facilitation held at Talkatora Indoor Stadium in New Delhi. The winning Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) were felicitated by Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs Kousal Kishore. Pipili NAC Executive Officer Puja Rout and Deputy Commissioner (Sanitation) Sanjibeeta Ray received the awards.
