FIFA President Gianni Infantino has extended his congratulations to Odisha FC Women’s Team for their historic victory in the Indian Women’s League (IWL) 2023-24 season. The Odisha FC women’s team etched their name in the annals of Indian football history on March 24 by clinching the coveted title, thus dethroning Gokulam FC. The remarkable achievement of Odisha FC Women did not go unnoticed by FIFA, the global governing body for football based in Zurich, Switzerland. In a letter addressed to All India Football Federation (AIFF) chief Kalyan Chaubey, President Infantino lauded the team for their outstanding accomplishment.
