The Odisha Pavilion has secured a gold medal at the 42nd India International Trade Fair (IITF) held in New Delhi. The pavilion, conceptualized around the state’s ancient maritime trade culture, claimed the top position for Excellence in Display at Pragati Maidan in the national capital. Featuring 24 stalls that included handloom outlets and government departments, the Odisha Pavilion aimed to showcase the rich cultural heritage, handicrafts, and handloom of Odisha. The emphasis was on providing a robust representation of tribal groups, with a special focus on highlighting the work of women artisans. The diverse displays included Government outlets of handloom, the renowned Koraput Coffee, agricultural products, ethical weaves, and more, creating a vibrant and culturally immersive experience for every visitor.
