Union Education, Skill Development, and Entrepreneurship Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Union Minister for Finance and Corporate Affairs Nirmala Sitharaman jointly addressed the National CA Conference-2023 in Bhubaneswar. Sitharaman highlighted India’s growth as a global fin-tech superpower and its path to becoming the 3rd largest economy. She emphasized the pivotal role of Chartered Accountants (CAs) in guiding start-ups, women entrepreneurs, nano enterprises, and MSMEs for robust economic development. Sitharaman also stressed the importance of CAs adopting technology to support India’s evolving economy. Additionally, she encouraged global collaborations for knowledge sharing. Dharmendra Pradhan underlined the government’s commitment to empowering CAs to become global leaders and fostering international engagement and expertise exchange. He also emphasized the CAs’ role in strengthening India’s entrepreneurial landscape through financial guidance. The event aimed to harness CAs’ potential as catalysts for economic growth and technology adoption.
