The new tourism policy for Odisha released a couple of days ago at the Make in Odisha Conclave’ has a lot of interesting recommendations to encourage private investment in tourism infrastructure in the state.

The policy states that the government will encourage private sector investors to invest in Star category hotels, convention centres, heritage hotels, eco camps by granting various fiscal and non fiscal incentives, single window clearance and marketing and promotion support etc.
