Odisha-born Indian Economic Service (IES) officer Kamala Kant Tripathy has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister (EAC-PM), NITI Aayog for a tenure of five years. His journey in civil services began when he secured third rank in the Odisha Civil Services Examination in 1997 and started his career as Additional Tehsildar in Kendrapada district.
