Hockey India has officially announced a 32-member Indian men’s squad for the highly anticipated FIH Pro League 2024-25, scheduled to take place at the Kalinga Hockey Stadium, Bhubaneswar, from February 15 to 25. Three hockey players from Odisha – Amit Rohidas, Nilam Sanjeep Xess, and Shilanand Lakra – have secured their spots in the squad. Veteran drag-flicker Harmanpreet Singh has been named the captain of the squad, while Hardik Singh will serve as the vice-captain. Two exciting young prospects, Angad Bir Singh (22) and Arshdeep Singh (20), will make their senior team debuts in the tournament after delivering outstanding performances in junior hockey and the ongoing Hockey India League.
