Union Minister for Education and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, inaugurated the ‘Ministry of Education – AICTE Investor Network’ in New Delhi. Described as a groundbreaking initiative, it aims to unite students, faculty, investors, and the market on a single platform to enhance the culture of innovation and address startup funding challenges. Aligned with the vision of NEP 2020, the network contributes to catalyzing the startup landscape, aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ambition to position India as a leader in startups and innovation.
During the launch, Pradhan emphasized the network’s role in fortifying the support system for dynamic innovators from idea generation to becoming commercially viable startups. He highlighted the dual role of venture capitalists as investors and mentors, urging them to invest in ideas emerging from schools and Higher Education Institutions. Pradhan stressed the significance of investing not only in businesses but also in the nation’s dreams to achieve the goal of Viksit Bharat 2047.
With over 50 investors and industry leaders across various sectors in attendance, the launch aimed to establish networking opportunities and foster partnerships that drive innovation and growth.
