In a tweet, Minister Pradhan highlighted the significance of skilled individuals like Basant Kumar Rana, Ganesh Kumar Rana, and Narsingh Rana of Puri, Odisha, in India’s progress. He praised the ‘PM Vishwakarma’ scheme, aimed at increasing the respect and empowerment of skilled Vishwakarmas like them.

Minister Pradhan acknowledged Prime Minister Modi’s commitment to global cooperation and addressing disparities, especially evident during the G20 Summit. He stated that PM Modi considers the world his family and has taken up the responsibility of fostering ties among nations. The ‘PM Vishwakarma Scheme’ focuses on supporting Vishwakarma artisans and promoting entrepreneurship, offering financial assistance to many individuals from this community. Minister Pradhan announced that under the scheme, Vishwakarma individuals will receive loans of Rs 3 lakhs at lower interest rates, emphasizing the tangible benefits for the community.
