Dr. Akshya Kumar Bisoi, a renowned cardiac surgeon, has been nominated as the new President of AIIMS Bhubaneswar, replacing Dr. Subrat Acharya. The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare issued a notification announcing Dr. Bisoi’s appointment to the prestigious position at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Bhubaneswar. Dr. Bisoi, currently a Professor of Cardiac Surgery at AIIMS New Delhi, brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise in the field. With a career spanning three decades, he has performed over 32,000 procedures and has been instrumental in developing effective and sustainable healthcare models.
