Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan marked the silver jubilee of the Old Students Association of PM Shri School Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya with the inauguration of new facilities. Minister Pradhan inaugurated a state-of-the-art multi-purpose meeting hall and an integrated sports complex, representing an investment of Rs 6.65 crore. Expressing optimism, he believed these additions would boost self-confidence and rekindle enthusiasm for sports among students. As a symbolic gesture, Pradhan distributed footballs and announced plans for a wider distribution across schools in the Angul district. Emphasizing Navodaya Vidyalaya’s role as a hub for holistic development, Pradhan highlighted its commitment to providing quality education to economically disadvantaged students since its establishment in 1987. The event held at Champatimunda paid homage to the contributions of former Chief Minister Nabakrushna Choudhury and Malati Devi in the educational growth of the region.
