The Union Education Minister of India, Dharmendra Pradhan, recently addressed the launch of the Singapore-India Hackathon 2023 alongside Mr. Gan Kim Yong, Trade & Industry Minister of Singapore. Pradhan highlighted that the hackathon provides a platform for young innovators from both countries to collaborate and find solutions to pressing challenges. He also emphasized the need to focus on 3C’s- Capacity, Capability, and Capital, to achieve a shared vision of strengthening the voice of the global south, ensuring global prosperity, and transforming India into a global hub of skilled manpower. The theme of India’s G20 Presidency, Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, will guide SIH2023 to foster innovation and deepen engagement and collaboration between India and Singapore across new areas to help fulfill global responsibilities.
