Union Minister of Education, Skill Development, and Entrepreneurship, Dharmendra Pradhan, has arrived in Odisha to participate in the ‘Garib Kalyan Samabesh’ (welfare meetings for the poor) in four districts of the state. The meetings, scheduled from today to June 11, aim to mark the completion of 9 years of the Narendra Modi government at the Centre. During his visit, Pradhan will attend various events and interact with the public to gather feedback on the impact of welfare schemes and explore convergence and saturation with different government programs. On the first day, the Union Minister will grace the Garib Kalyan Samabesh in Dhenkanal district and attend the inauguration ceremony of “Radio Basudha” in Kamakhyanagar. He will also join the ‘Sanyukta Morcha’ meeting of the BJP in the same area. The following day, Pradhan will participate in the Dilip Satpathy Memorial question-answer program in Bhubaneswar and attend the ST Sports Festival 2023 organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
Continuing his engagements, on Saturday, Pradhan will participate in the Garib Kalyan Samabesh in Bargarh and Sambalpur districts, where he will also interact with party workers. The final day of his visit will include a visit to BPCL’s Bio Ethanol Refinery in Bargarh district and the inauguration of an indoor stadium in Balangir. The Garib Kalyan Samabesh at Nrusinghanath Paikamal in Bargarh district will conclude the events. The Garib Kalyan Samabesh serves as a platform for public representatives to directly interact with the general public and gather feedback on various welfare programs implemented by the central government. The objective is to understand the impact of these schemes on people’s lives and explore ways to enhance their effectiveness.
