Orissa High Court Launches Guided Tour Program Providing Exclusive Access to Its Historic Building

The historic building of the Orissa High Court in Cuttack has initiated a unique “Guided Tour” program, opening its doors to the public. This opportunity allows visitors to explore the High Court complex and learn about its various aspects. Guided tours are scheduled every Saturday, with two shifts of 40 visitors each. The first shift runs from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed by the second shift from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. During the tour, participants can view the majestic courtrooms in both the Heritage Building and the New Building, as well as other important areas of the High Court. Officials will provide insights into the court’s functioning. IInterested individuals can register and collect passes from the Visitors’ Pass Counter, located near the Copying Section of the High Court, on working days from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Original identity proof is required during registration and the tour. The guided tour is offered free of charge, with the possibility of online registration and slot booking to be introduced soon.
