Odisha’s ace cyclist, Swasti Singh, made a remarkable impact at the Khelo India Women’s Track Cycling League finals, held over two days at the Indira Gandhi Sports Complex in Delhi. Competing on May 26 and 27, Swasti showcased her exceptional talent by winning five silver medals in various cycling events.

Swasti Singh’s silver medals were earned in these events. ‘3 km Individual Pursuit’ is a time trial race where cyclists aim to cover the distance in the shortest time. ‘200m Sprint’ is a high-speed race involving direct competition between cyclists over a short distance. ’10 km Scratch Race’ is a race where the first cyclist to cross the finish line after 10 km wins. ‘Keirin Race’ is a race involving a paced start followed by a sprint to the finish. ‘500m Time Trial’ is a solo race against the clock over 500 meters. The 23-year-old cyclist has an impressive record, having previously won gold medals in the National Games and the National Road Cycling Championship, as well as a silver medal in the HCL Cyclothon meet.
