Satbir Singh Riar, a member of the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA), has been appointed as the manager of the Indian Cricket Team for the Test series against South Africa. This announcement was made by OCA secretary Sanjay Behera. Hailing from Malkangiri district in Odisha, Riar will undertake the role during the first Test in Centurion and the second Test in Cape Town.

OCA president Pranab Prakash Das, along with secretary Sanjay Behera and other officials, extended their congratulations to Riar for this noteworthy achievement. Riar expressed his gratitude to the OCA for the opportunity and conveyed his happiness about the new responsibility. He has previously served as the manager of Odisha U-16, U-19, and Ranji teams and is now excited about contributing to Team India.
