The Odisha-born athlete showcased his exceptional skills in both the men’s SL3 singles and SL3-SU5 mixed doubles events. In the highly competitive men’s singles SL3 category, Pramod Bhagat faced off against England’s Daniel Bethell in a gripping final match. The intensity of the game kept spectators on the edge of their seats, as both players displayed remarkable prowess on the court. Despite a valiant effort, Pramod succumbed to Daniel Bethell, who maintained composure to secure victory with a scoreline of 21-17, 21-18.

Undeterred by the singles defeat, Pramod Bhagat paired up with Manisha Ramdass for the mixed doubles SL3 and SU5 category. The duo reached the finals but faced formidable opponents in Indonesia’s Hikmat Ramdani and Leani Ratri Oktila. Despite their best efforts, Pramod and Manisha fell short, and the final score reflected a 21-14, 21-11 victory for the Indonesian pair.
