The remarkable sisters dominated the BWF Tajikistan International Series, securing the gold medal in the women’s doubles category. In a breathtaking display of skill, they effortlessly overcame the Azerbaijan duo of Era Maftuha and Hajar Nuriyeva in the finals, with an impressive score of 21-3, 21-7, in just 20 minutes. Earlier in the competition, Rutaparna and Swetaparna received a bye in the quarterfinals, and they continued their stellar performance by defeating Kazakhstan’s Yeva Butpayeva and Nargiza Rakhmetullayeva 21-10, 21-8 in the semi-finals. The talented Panda sisters had previously clinched a silver medal in the APACS Kazakhstan International Future Series meet held in June.
