Odisha's Aditya Patnaik to represent India at global karting competition in Bahrain

Aditya Patnaik, a 19-year-old from Sambalpur district in Odisha, is set to represent India at the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals in Bahrain next month. The global karting competition, featuring over 80 countries, will take place from December 2 to 9 at the Bahrain International Karting Circuit. Aditya secured his spot after winning the senior max category with 408 points at the National Karting Championship 2023 held at the Meco Kartopia Circuit in Bengaluru. His father Subhendu said Aditya is passionate about motorsports. ‘We are hopeful that he will certainly excel in Bahrain. I am eagerly waiting for the competition,’ he said. Trained at the Rayo Racing Charter School in Mumbai, Aditya is enthusiastic about the opportunity and aspires to pursue motorcar racing in the future.
