Odisha-born actor Prem Parrijaa is set to make his debut as the lead in an action-thriller web series based on the popular Commando film series, which stars Vidyut Jammwal. The teaser for the upcoming web series was released on Disney+ Hotstar. Prem will be sharing the spotlight with Adah Sharma, known for her work in ‘The Kerala Story.’

Expressing his excitement, Prem revealed that he had nurtured the dream of becoming an actor since he was 11 years old. After completing his education in Bhubaneswar and New Delhi, he found his passion for acting while performing in plays across the country as part of the dramatics society at Hans Raj College. Following this, he worked as an Assistant Director in Bollywood for eight years, where he had the opportunity to learn from renowned actors like Manoj Bajpai, Vidya Balan, Arshad Warsi, John Abraham, Farhan Akhtar, and Rajkumar Rao. Additionally, Prem received training in ‘method acting’ from The Lee Strasberg School of Theatre and Film in New York, which greatly contributed to his growth as an actor. With his accumulated experiences and skills, Prem is now ready to step into the limelight as the protagonist in the Commando-inspired web series, fulfilling his long-cherished dream of becoming an actor. The news has sparked excitement among movie buffs and fans of the Commando franchise as they eagerly anticipate the release of this action-packed venture on Disney+ Hotstar.
