Kapileswar Temple in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, is set to receive national recognition as a monument of national importance. The Ministry of Culture, through a Gazette notification announced its intention to declare the ancient temple as a site of national significance under the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1958. The notification allows a two-month period for objections or suggestions to be submitted to the Director General of the Archaeological Survey of India.
