Ahead of the FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup, a hockey anthem – ‘Ek Naye Kahani Likhi Hai Odisha’ – has been prepared by acclaimed writer, composer and director Santosh Panda, while Bollywood singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya has rendered his voice for the song.
While it was produced under the banner The Premier Media and Eastern Bay, Hockey India president Dillip Tirkey has given a hockey stick to Panda after listening to the song.
The Hockey World Cup 2023 is scheduled to be held in Bhubaneswar and Rourkela from January 13 to 29.
Odisha Governor Ganeshi Lal while releasing the poster and promo of the song has also had high praise for the lyrics and tune of the song too. He has congratulated the team through his tweet.
