The THE World Reputation Rankings 2025, published on Tuesday, evaluated 300 universities across 38 countries, using a revamped methodology to assess institutional excellence and global academic influence. Among the globally ranked institutions, Harvard University secured the top position for the 14th consecutive year, followed by Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and University of Oxford in joint second place, while Stanford University and University of Cambridge shared the fourth rank.

In 2024, SOA was ranked 14th among Indian universities by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF).
