Bhubaneswar All Set to Host Sub-Junior & Junior National Aquatic Championships

Bhubaneswar is poised to host the highly anticipated 40th Sub-Junior and 50th Junior National Aquatic Championships at the Indoor Aquatic Centre in Kalinga Stadium. The event, scheduled from August 6 to 11, promises to showcase the best young aquatic talent from across the nation.

The Nationals are being jointly organized by the Odisha State Swimming Association and the Department of Sport & Youth Services of the state government, under the aegis of the Swimming Federation of India. The grand inaugural ceremony is set to take place at 4 PM on Tuesday, while the closing ceremony will be held at 5 PM on August 11.

Events will kick off at 8 AM daily throughout the championship, ensuring a full schedule of competitive swimming. Boys and girls will compete in three distinct age groups:

Group I: 15 to 17 years (born in 2007, 2008, 2009)
Group II: 12 to 14 years (born in 2010, 2011, 2012)
Group III: 10 to 11 years (born in 2013, 2014)

The competitions will feature a variety of events across different swimming styles and distances.
