In an exciting development for Indian athletics, three talented sprinters from Odisha have been selected to represent the country at the Under-20 World Athletics Championship. The prestigious event is scheduled to take place in Peru from August 27 to 31. The selected athletes, Bapi Hansda, Dondapati Jayaram, and Mohendra Santa, are all trainees at the Odisha Reliance Foundation Athletics High Performance Centre (HPC). Bapi Hansda, Dondapati Jayaram, and Mohendra Santa left for Bengaluru on Saturday to participate in an intensive coaching camp. This camp, organized by the Athletics Federation of India (AFI) and the Sports Authority of India (SAI), is designed to prepare the athletes for the high-stakes competition in Peru.
