In an additional attraction to Bali Jatra in Cuttack this year, a colourful tableau that will visit different cities in Odisha was rolled out on Wednesday. Aimed at wide publicity of the Bali Jatra, the state’s biggest trade fair, the tableau will go to Bhubaneswar, Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Jajpur and Paradeep. The annual event, commemorating Odisha’s maritime history, is scheduled to take place from November 27 to December 4 on the Mahanadi riverbanks. With around 1,900 stalls featuring diverse products, the fair attracts visitors from across the state. Noteworthy this year is a mobile tunnel aquarium from a Tamil Nadu-based private agency, adding a unique and special element to the Jatra.
