Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) Deemed to be University in Bhubaneswar, India, has entered into significant collaborations by signing Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with entities in Vietnam. The university inked an MoU with Vietnam’s Vinh Long province’s Department of Education and Training, aiming to foster bilateral cooperation in education and training. The collaboration, as outlined in the MoU, seeks to strengthen the existing friendship and convergence between India and Vietnam through various educational and cultural initiatives. Additional MoUs were signed between SOA and Vinh Long University of Technology Education, University of Cuu Long, Long Ho, and Putin Animal Feed Company Limited, Vinh Long City.

The agreements highlight mutual cooperation in creating learning opportunities for students from both countries, promoting cultural understanding through exchanges, and focusing on areas like information technology, nanotechnology, cyber security, biotechnology, and Vietnamese and Indian cultural studies. The SOA-VLUTE agreement emphasizes the promotion of understanding, strengthening cultural links, facilitating student and faculty exchanges, and enabling VLUTE lecturers to undertake Ph.D. programs offered by SOA. The MoU between SOA and University of Cuu Long aims at knowledge transfer through collaborative research projects, joint academic and scientific activities, and exchange programs for research and teaching personnel and students. Overall, these collaborations signify a commitment to educational, cultural, and research exchange between Bhubaneswar’s SOA and various entities in Vietnam, enhancing global cooperation in academia and beyond.
